About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineering Team Lead to oversee the development and delivery of high quality products that align with our company’s strategic goals. This role requires a balance of strong technical expertise, leadership, and cross functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone who can guide engineers, drive product innovation, improve processes, and ensure timely product releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of product engineers to ensure strong performance and growth.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
• Foster a collaborative and high performance engineering culture.
• Oversee end to end product development from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Translate product requirements into clear engineering tasks and technical solutions.
• Drive product innovation and ensure continuous improvement in performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Review technical designs, architecture, and code to maintain engineering standards.
• Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other teams to align engineering work with business goals.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and roadmap discussions.
• Communicate technical decisions, project updates, and engineering challenges to stakeholders.
• Implement engineering best practices, coding standards, and optimized development workflows.
• Promote continuous integration, automated testing, and efficient deployment pipelines.
• Enhance productivity through better tools, documentation, and process improvements.
• Ensure security, compliance, and quality standards across engineering activities.
• Contribute hands-on to coding, architecture, and troubleshooting when needed.
• Guide engineers in solving complex technical problems.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to tech stack.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Strong proficiency with modern software development languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js, React, etc., depending on your stack).
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Must have experience with Odoo Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading cross functional engineering teams in a scaling environment.
• Must have experience with Odoo 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and testing frameworks.
• Experience working with product-driven companies or SaaS platforms.

• Architect front-end flows that merge OWL components with clean, reusable logic.
• Push the boundaries of Odoo UI/UX with a design-first mindset.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to build next-gen customer experiences inside Odoo.
