Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Odoo Data Analyst to manage, analyze, and interpret business data from our Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will help optimize decision making through accurate reporting, dashboards, and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from Odoo modules (Sales, HR, Inventory, Finance, etc.).

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports within Odoo and other BI tools.

• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

• Collaborate with different departments to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Support management in making data-driven decisions.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Odoo modules.

• Automate data reporting processes and improve data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role (Odoo experience preferred).

• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Odoo reporting tools.

• Understanding of business processes and ERP data structures.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.

• Lead and manage full-cycle Odoo ERP implementations across various business departments.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python based on client and internal needs.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise development tasks with in-house or external technical teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Conduct system testing, quality assurance, user training, and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure ERP adoption and alignment with business processes.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes, customizations, and user manuals.
• Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements or new modules.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (including v14 or newer).
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in Odoo module development and customization.
• Proven experience in managing ERP or software development projects (Agile or waterfall methodologies).
• Solid understanding of Odoo architecture and core modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; able to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Master’s degree or Odoo certification is a plus.)

• Experience with PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, or QWeb.
• Familiarity with deployment and server management in a Linux environment.

• Own GW’s entire Odoo reporting layer—from raw tables to pixel-perfect dashboards.
• Deliver CFO-ready P&L, contribution‑margin, inventory‑turn, and compliance boards.
• Blend Odoo data with external sources (Ads, GHL, Shopify, BI APIs) to calculate true CAC, CLV, and gross margin.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, materialized views, and live KPI cards that remain performant at 10M+ rows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to translate data into actionable business insights.

• Design and build OWL/Spreadsheet/Looker‑style dashboards within Odoo.
• Write high‑leverage SQL, read_group, and Python aggregation services.
• Create self‑serve datasets for business users; document KPIs and data lineage.
• Optimize PostgreSQL indexes, partitions, and caches for sub‑second dashboard performance.
• Automate data‑quality tests and reconcile with GL & inventory.
• Mentor analysts and developers on data modeling and analytics best practices.

• 4+ years deep analytics experience using Odoo (v14 → v18), including database & reporting layers.
• Expert in PostgreSQL, analytical SQL, and Odoo read_group ORM patterns.
• Proven record creating revenue, margin, or supply‑chain dashboards in Odoo, Power BI, or Looker 
• Python scripting experience: ETL, cron jobs, bus.bus UI KPI cards; basic OWL/QWeb templating.
• Solid understanding of landed cost, average/FIFO costing, multi‑company and multi‑currency accounting.
• Ability to convert high‑level C‑suite questions into datasets with minimal spec—and rapid iteration.

• Experience with LLM/RAG‑based data summarization.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance reporting (N₂O, nicotine, other regulated goods).
• Familiarity with ELT platforms like Airflow, dbt, or similar.
