Product Owner

GW Products USA is seeking a Product Owner with strong Odoo ERP experience to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of business-critical ERP initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, technology, and product strategy, ensuring our Odoo ecosystem scales efficiently as the company grows.
You will work closely with leadership, internal stakeholders, and development teams to translate operational needs into clear product requirements, drive adoption, and deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Odoo-based solutions
- Act as the primary product owner for Odoo ERP across multiple business functions
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business impact, urgency, and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Serve as the decision-maker on scope, priorities, and functional trade-offs
- Ensure Odoo configurations, workflows, and customizations align with operational goals
- Document processes and create SOPs to support scalability and knowledge transfer
Must Have
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Enterprise or Community) across multiple modules
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant in ERP-driven environments
- Strong functional understanding of Odoo core modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, and Project
- Demonstrated ability to convert business needs into well-defined user stories and product requirements
- Experience managing product backlogs and roadmaps in Agile/Scrum environments
- Hands-on experience with Odoo configuration, workflows, and functional customization
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, including process mapping and SOP creation
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
Nice to have
- Experience leading or supporting Odoo implementations, migrations, or scale-ups
- Familiarity with Odoo Studio, automated actions, reporting, or dashboards
- Basic understanding of Odoo technical architecture (Python / ORM)
- Product or Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent)
- Experience working with fast-growing, operations-heavy organizations
