DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with hands-on Odoo ERP experience to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations of our Odoo ERP environments, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD workflows.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve system performance, automate deployments, and support business-critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated development, testing, and deployment
- Manage and optimize Odoo ERP environments, including deployments, upgrades, modules, backups, and integrations
- Maintain and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) ensuring high availability and reliability
- Configure, monitor, and optimize production and staging environments
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Monitor system health using logging, alerting, and performance monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and network-related issues
- Strengthen system security through access control, patching, and environment hardening
- Collaborate with development teams to improve workflows, automation, and release processes
- Document system architecture, deployment processes, and operational best practices
- Drive continuous improvement across DevOps processes and infrastructure
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role
- Hands-on experience managing Odoo ERP environments, including deployment, scaling, and configuration
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of Linux system administration
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices
- Strong problem-solving, automation, and troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Odoo custom modules or related development workflows
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Nginx, HAProxy, or similar reverse proxies
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- DevOps or cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience working in fast-paced or scaling technology environments
